Happy Father's Day

        Happy Father's Day to all the Men who really work hard to spend time and provide for their kids! also Happy Father's day to all the Men who act as Father Figures to those kids without Fathers, to all the Pastors, Coaches, and Mentors, I salute you!!! as I just celebrated my Father's 92nd Birthday, I think about how blessed and grateful I am to still have my Father in my Life. I also think about the sacrifice and commitment my Father displayed in order to make sure that I was raised and guided in the right way. So on this special day, don't take your Father or Father Figure for granted, but Appreciate, Celebrate, and be Grateful for all they've done or continue to do in your Life. To all the Fathers out there, Enjoy your day, because any man can become a dad, but it takes a Real Man to be a Father!!!

No more Excuses!!!

    How many of you know someone who has an excuse for everything they do or fail to do? even if not an excuse for everything, mostly everything. I'm sure you know someone like this, matter of fact, you may be that person. Look, I'm not here to cast Judgement on anybody, because we all have our issues, but I've come to realize that in order to move ahead in Life and truly be happy and fulfilled, you have to get rid of the excuses! I knew this young Lady who would blame everybody and everything for the situation she was in. She had a rough childhood, filled with abuse and neglect, from her family. She admitted she was dealing with these past issues, but she would never admit that she needed to get help. She would just continue to blame everyone else around her. It got to the point where it even affected her kids in a negative way. You have to gain the courage to take responsibility for your Life, and get a new perspective on your situation! Don't allow other people's dialogue or past experiences to hold you back or keep you in fear from living Life to the fullest. Know that everything you need or desire comes from within you, so see every negative experience as a setup and not a setback. Change your outlook and what you continuously tell yourself about your situation,  because it's never too late to Live your Dreams!!!

No Limits!!!

    Are you placing Limits on your ability to achieve your Dreams?  Better yet, Are you allowing others to place Limitations on you?   The reason I ask these questions is because I've always been curious into what separates those that Live their Dreams from those that don't. What's the difference between a blind man who climbs to the top of Mount Everest, from the climber who tries and never makes it or the woman who, at the age of 70yrs old finally realizes her dream of one day running a marathon, while another 70yr old woman,  just talks about what could have been. I remember catching up with an old highschool classmate and former football teammate who talked to me about how he could have made it to the NFL, but didn't get the opportunity. In hearing what he was saying, I told myself, well there isn't really much difference between us, as a matter of fact, he had a lot more talent than me in highschool. Maybe the difference was that where he didn't see an opportunity, and gave up on his dream. I didn't accept that Limitation, but worked extremely hard and created my own opportunity! So what's your story or what's your excuse for not pursuing your Dreams? Your no different from the Jay z's, Beyonce's, Lebron James's, Cam Newton's, or Oprah Winfrey's of the world. No different from the Tyler Perry's, or other successful Movie producers, Doctors, Attorneys, Corporate Executives or Millionaire Entrepreneurs of the world! The key is to not allow anyone, including yourself, to place Limits on what you can achieve, but in the words of a famous gospel song, by the artist, Israel and New Breed, it's time to "Take the Limits off!" the Limits placed on your mind, so that through hard work, you can truly Live your Dreams and allow the Creator to "Enlarge your Territory!!!"

Pain =Motivation

  What's up Everybody! I know a lot of you all will be watching the NBA Playoffs, and especially the Heat vs. Pacers final tonight. I ran across this quote from Lebron James and it made me think about numerous times in my life, as well, when I used my PAIN as my MOTIVATION to reach my Dreams of one day playing in the NFL! The PAIN of being talked about, ridiculed, deceived, injured, and even Isolated. I know all of us have experienced some form of pain in our lives, some greater than others, but the key is to use that pain as your Motivation to push you harder to achieve your Dreams. You will always go through some form of PAIN in your life, but since that's the case, Why not get a REWARD from it? Don't allow Past or Current PAIN to hold you back from Realizing your Dreams! Let that Pain Motivate you to go Harder and Remember that PAIN is only temporary, but Regret can last a Lifetime!!!
